The Igloo CKICEBSC26CR is a special Igloo countertop ice maker, being the one partnership with Coca-Cola. While the beverage company does nothing but stick a name in it, the ice maker truly blends with design of some cafes that I frequently visit. Okay, my special thank to Samuel for give me this ice maker for a proper Igloo CKICEBSC26CR review.

Igloo CKICEBSC26CR Review: Price

In 2012, Igloo and Coca-Cola signed an exclusive deal to bring the name of the soft drink company into the Igloo products, and we have the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR. It isn’t meant for a big difference, it’s just a marketing appliance, to remind people of “Coca-Cola” (you don’t see the Igloo name as usual).
Good thing is we can buy the Igloo CKICESBC26CR easily on Amazon, something that we can’t with the older Igloo countertop ice maker like the Igloo ICEBNH26. The price of the Igloo CKICESBC26CR is about $129, which is about 30% more expensive than a normal Igloo countertop ice maker with its features and capacity, like the Igloo ICEBSC26 Pro or Igloo ICEB26HN. However, if you bought these ice makers directly on Nostalgia Products webpage, you will find the prices of them a bit higher, at $149.
Still, when we can buy the Igloo portable ice maker from official source at cheaper price, the Igloo CKICESBC26CR isn’t the best deal. Not even if you love Coca-Cola, you should spend your money elsewhere, rather than keeping an overpriced Igloo portable ice maker. Perhaps come back when I have a better deal for this ice maker.
Again, if you’re looking for the best budget ice maker, the Frigidaire EFIC123-SS is still the top pick, best both the Igloo ICEBSC26 Pro or Igloo ICEB26HN from Igloo lineup with its stainless steel housing.

- Basically the Igloo ICEBSC26 Pro with Coca-Cola design

Igloo doesn’t need to think of a new design for the special Igloo CKICEBSC26CR, it looks and feels the same way as the Igloo IGLICEB26 or Igloo ICEBSC26 Pro, only uses a special red color. The Igloo countertop ice maker has 4 legs, which are good for stabilize the ice machine on countertop, designed specially for RV using.
The Igloo CKICEBSC26CR measures approximately 10 inches wide, 12 inches deep, and 14 inches tall, which is good for a portable ice maker. However, the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR doesn’t have a convenient handle like the Igloo ICEB26HN, so if you plan to bring it outside often, it could be a very problem. I find many people sensitive to touch and carry an electric appliance around. At least the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR is made of mostly plastic.
Many people like red color, including me, and this is the rare red Igloo option you can buy. The Igloo CKICEBSC26CR has big air ventilations, and I love that. It isn’t meant for better cooling, but better maintenance. I find this design is easier to clean the dust out, unlike some round air ventilation designs from other countertop ice makers.

Igloo CKICEBSC26CR Review: Build
- Igloo has better durability
- Not a name that needs servicing
Being an Igloo portable ice maker, the Igloo CKICESBC26CR shares the same build and durability as its brothers. The compressor inside the ice maker is really good, something built to last, unlike many modern countertop ice makers 2025. The plastic construction has a good weight at about 20 lbs, making the Igloo CKICESBC26CR a great appliance to run.
That’s my technician’s intuition of this countertop ice maker, but how about other customers? I find the customer reviews to be quite positive for the durability of this Igloo CKICESBC26CR. Some of them claimed the ice maker still serve them for years.
Only one thing, the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR only receives warranty through mail-in repairs. There is no physical service center for an Igloo countertop ice maker, and if you bypass the 1-year warranty, chance is you need an ice maker technician like myself to help you fix the product. Thankfully, the Igloo countertop ice maker is a bless, and I rarely see one in my working bench.

As the “Coca-Cola” model of the Igloo ICEBSC26 Pro, I expect the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR to share the same stats as its younger brother. So, the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR produces 26 pounds of ice every day, providing that you take its ice production continuously. It produces 9 bullet ice pieces in about 7 minutes. I find my testing unit of the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR a bit slower than most modern Igloo countertop ice makers in making the first batch. However, the difference is small.
If you really want to own an Igloo CKICEBSC26CR, and don’t really care for buying the fastest countertop ice maker out there, well, you’re welcome.

Igloo CKICEBSC26CR Review: Ice Quality
- Bullet ice
- A bit softer but cloudier than fridge’s ices
The Igloo CKICEBSC26CR produces bullet-shaped ice, which are cylindrical with a rounded tip and hollow center. Again, Igloo gives us the feature to select size for the ice maker, and the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR does at good thing at telling the size difference apart. So, the large ice is larger, and the small one is smaller.
Ice clarity varies significantly based on water quality and ambient conditions. I made an useful article on “How to make clear ice in ice maker?”, and boiled and filtered water can make difference in aesthetic for your end results.

Igloo CKICEBSC26CR Review: Energy and Water Consumption
- Normal water and energy consumption
I wrote an article of “How much electricity does an ice maker use?” to give you a free calculator to find out whether you are spending more on your ice maker or not. The Igloo CKICEBSC26CR operates at 120 Watts, so it is a good countertop ice maker with better energy consumption.
It isn’t necessary to discuss the water consumption of a normal countertop ice maker with air-cooled ventilation. So, the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR uses about 12 gallons of water to make 100 pounds of ice, the same as others. I wrote an article “Does an ice maker use a lot of water?” for better explanation.

Igloo CKICEBSC26CR Review: Noise Level
- Quiet operation
I wrote an article “Are countertop ice makers loud?” for this topic, and defend all countertop ice makers like the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR from many users claiming them to be loud. If you maintain the product exactly as it is intended to be (in the manual), the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR is just another small appliance with about 46 decibels as noise level. For context, the noise level is about the same as your regular refrigerator.
Luckily, the customer reviews are on my side, as I don’t find anyone complaining about the noise level of the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR. It’s reasonable for an ice maker to be a little “louder” when it drops ice, like I wrote in “Do ice makers make a lot of noise?”

Igloo CKICEBSC26CR Review: Features

It isn’t exaggeration if I say the Igloo CKICEBSC26CR as the pinnacle of Igloo portable ice makers, especially in the time it was released. We have the unique 5-cycle self-cleaning feature from Igloo, which is necessary to keep flushing the mineral buildup in its water line. You can use this ice machine cleaner 1-2 times per month to help thoroughly cleaning the whole ice maker. Or else, in my article “How to clean ice maker?”, I just use vinegar and warm water.
Other common features that you can find on a countertop ice maker are fully presented on the Igloo CKICESBC26CR. First, there is an “Add water” alert to remind you to fill in more water for producing ice. Then, we have an “Ice full” notification to tell us when it doesn’t want to produce ice anymore, and automatically stop making ice.
Again, I remind you of the simple ice size adjustment feature on the Igloo CKICESBC26CR. Unlike some other models, this feature works quite well on the Igloo CKICESBC26CR.

Verdict
The Igloo CKICESBC26CR is a special countertop ice maker with the name “Coca-Cola” on. But still, it is a regular Igloo portable ice maker with the same features and capacity of the Igloo ICEBSC26 Pro.
So my best advice is checking the prices for both ice makers.
